It is like starting all the way over. I don't even know if anyone will ever see this, but I'm fine with that. The last two years have been quite interesting. I can't explain in words the changes that have occurred in this short time frame. I expected a lot to happen and about a million times more happened. My mission was the best experience in the world. I couldn't have done a better thing with my life. Brasil is amazing and I am so grateful for the people that helped me while I was there. I learned so much, and prepared myself for the life that awaited me when I returned.

Life at home has been great. I am so grateful that I can be here for my family, and have had the chance to start my own. Losing my mother was one of the hardest things I have ever gone through, but having strong people around me helped me so much. Having an awesome family also really helps. My dad is amazing and has helped me so much. I have come to a great appreciation for him. I am also even more grateful for the life my mother lived and the example she was for me and all she ever met. I'll never forget her and the legacy she left behind for me. She taught me things in 20 years that will take me 100 to apply.

I am also so grateful for the opportunity I have to be married to the prettiest girl in the world. She means everything to me. One of the most important things to me is that she had the opportunity to know my mom. I never thought that if we hadn't have dated before my mission she might not have had that opportunity. Shella is amazing. I discover more and more each day. I couldn't have picked a better helpmate. I also married into a pretty awesome family that has helped me so much. They are so much fun, and now are a definite part of who I am.

Well, I'll try to post a few pictures of everything that has gone on in the last little while. The one thing I've learned is never waste a moment when there are so many good things to do with it! We need to use all of our time to do good things and not waste time!

Thanks for reading... hopefully I post again before two more years slip by...

Conference Weekend

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_gOPR8bogWUY/RhCasUjZCRI/AAAAAAAAABM/nFvrjzoB9eY/s320/IMG_0142.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5048705268504398098" />
Ahhh Conference weekend was fantastic! I was looking at it today and decided there needs to be another post. I left a few posts from my previous blogs glory, but not too much is left. I've decided there needs to be a few posts every so often as to remember all the good things that are happening in my life! Well, I've just started the last week of this college semester. I'm SO ready for it to be over and so ready to have a nice break. I haven't had a long break since the summer before my senior year. I'm bored and just thinking about everything and deciding that I'm glad I've made the decisions over the past years that I have. They may have not all be the right ones... but I like where I'm at now. I like the position of my life I am at. I can't wait to go on my mission, but for now, life is good. I kind of wish now that I could have a few friends a little closer than they are. Cary, I wish you were around more often. Now the Sidekick is running we have to work on that thing like crazy! I'm SOOOOOO excited for tomorrow that we're going to clean the Sidekick and stuff... that is so awesome. Jill, you're awesome and I really hope that I've never hurt your feelings. If I have... I apologize. Jenny, your an awesome girl and I have very high regard for you and what you do. I appreciate all three of you being my friends and I hope that over the next six months you and I can work together to become a closer group of friends. I first started out at Youth Spectacular Orchestra practice, I really think it is boring, but I do it anyway because of my love for music. I really do enjoy playing these songs but they just get so... old playing them over and over. Well soon after that I went do A capella practice which wasn't so... fun... hardly anyone showed up, but with who we had we sang and had fun. Well after that I went and watched a movie with Dan, Shella, Kimber and company which as always was a load of fun. So the night then slowed down and I layed at home contimplating the date that was coming tonight... and I had a nap... hahaha... Jenny called and I went to pick her up. The ride up was enjoyable and we talked a lot. Once we arrived on location, O.C Tanner Amphitheater, we quickly found seats and were greeted by many of our friends. Well as the night progressed I was excited to hear a live group... I was curious on whether it really sounded like the CD... So the concert started and all was well. Well, about 3-4 songs in Shella gets called up to do the routine with Moosebutter, they sing, give Easy Cheese... all is well... The song right before intermission comes along, and the boy with the red exercise headband stands up, (headband that you pass around and stand up if you'd like to make changes to the performance) He then asks Moosebutter to come and sing the song out in the audience. Quickly this turns into have the audience sing, all I realize is all fingers are pointed at me... argg... so the Baritone singer comes and sits in my seat and stands me up in front of everyone... I was SO nervous. They start the song that I have no idea the words and I fumble it up bad... so they ask me what I know and the only thing that comes to my mind comes out of my mouth "Rubber Ducky?!" So, that is approved and I go into it, and I start to relax, they start singing with me and it is fine, then it is over and I'm sitting back down so embarrassed yet... I feel good knowing that I sang with Moosebutter... I really did have a good time, Moosebutter rocks, I sang with them you know.... hehehe... Well and I know I'm never safe at an A capella concert... I might just have to sing again... hahaha... well... have fun! don't die! So I was driving down the ro... EH who cares I don't want to rehash it, you've all heard the story got hit in the rear end, BLAH BLAH BLAH, so I've kind of just been waiting on the insurance company to get me my money so I can either fix it or sell it. So tonight I made the effort to FIX IT! Yay! actually not really, just make "better" it might not be but hey I tried! So I walked out folded down the back seat and... my amp had fallen that sucked, so I just decided I'd take it all the way out, so I took it out and the subs, not woofers anymore... so while I'm getting everything out of the trunk dad comes to "save the day" with his tool of choice, the sledge hammer. Next thing I know I hear loud bangs, and with my head in the trunk I think my head might explode, but no, dad was bending the trunk back into place from where the truck hit me, That had to be the saddest sight I have ever beheld, my preciouis car being beaten by my father with a sledgehammer. I know this car means nothing, and someday even the greatest cars go to the junk yard, but I don't know I've kind of sort of developed an attachment, it is just a stupid car, but it is a fun car, and I LIKE IT! I don't want to give it up! It runs like a champ so why can't it look like one! I don't know, it in my mind sounds SO stupid, but I really like my car, it is a beast and there is nothing like it around because it is MY CAR! My FIRST car! I think I might just HAVE to fix it up now, I could care less what my father says! I love my car, it is always there for me high and low, thick and thin! SO That is it! ahhh I feel better! Have fun! don't die!
